You drive the C6R in iRacing quite a bit, right? A car with a very narrow window. I think it takes away some of what I feel I do best, which is smoothly driving to the limit of the car. I just don't understand the limit as well in AC because the window is so huge. Conversely, I think that's what makes it great for a lot of people. I think some of that accessibility and playfulness of AC comes at the expense of having a crystal clear box within you're supposed to drive efficiently. OK sure, I have a long history with their physics lineage, so it would make sense I better understood them, but it's more than that. The Papyrus/iRacing code, and the rFactor code. More to your point though, personally, I'm much better at the 'traditional' sims. Granted we'd run nothing but the default setup, and have stuff like ABS and TC turned off globally, but there were still a decent amount of no-slouch guys. It's easy to overlook.īetta Lines and I used to run quite a bit of AC online together for some laughs, and for sure there are some quick guys that run it.
